About Us

Richer School offers English programming to a student population of 154 students from Kindergarten to Grade 8. Our students come from Richer and many surrounding communities, like Ross, St. Genevieve and RM of Ste. Anne.

The Richer staff includes 9 classroom teachers, 1 resource teacher, 1 guidance counselor, a band/music teacher, a physical education teacher .5 librarian, 2.5 educational assistants, 2 custodians, a secretary and a principal.

Instruction in all subject areas is in the English language with the exception of the Basic French program. In addition, Richer School also offers a physical education (K-8) and a music program (K-5) as well as a band program for grades 6-8.

Richer School recognizes student accomplishments in a variety of ways. Assemblies recognize student successes in areas including academic improvement, character education, music and physical education. Students are also given an opportunity to provide entertainment at our assemblies.

In addition to our Pillars program, there is also our Character Education program, and our Outdoor Classroom.

Richer School has a computer lab of thirty laptops. Although we have a lab, the teachers include technology in their everyday lessons in the classroom as a tool to student`s learning. The laptops also provides flexibility to the student's learning.

At Richer School we make it a goal to meet the needs of our students. We also have high expectations in Balanced Numeracy and Literacy which continues to be major focuses at Richer School.
